C5ISR Center Community Outreach Office: 2025 REAL-WORLD INTERNSHIPS Program
The C5ISR Center Community Outreach Office is thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the 2025 REAL-WORLD INTERNSHIPS IN SCIENCE & ENGINEERING (RISE) Program! This unique opportunity offers high school students the chance to gain hands-on experience in professional labs at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) while working alongside professional engineers and scientists.

Program Details:
- Dates: July 7 – July 18, 2025
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Time: 8:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
Application Information
- Deadline: Sunday, February 2, 2025, by 11:55 PM EST
- Eligibility: Open to current high school students who will be 16 years of age on or before July 1, 2025.
Program participants will engage in result-oriented work, spending 6-7 hours daily in APG labs, contributing to real-world technology projects that directly support our Soldiers. Additionally, participants will enhance their professional skills through leadership workshops designed to prepare them for future careers in science and engineering.
